Sant Carles de la Ràpita is a town located in the Terres de l'Ebre just south of the Delta del Ebro Natural Park. Thanks to its geographical position it enjoys the proximity of both the sea and the mountains. For this reason tourists should not fail to visit the Delta and its beautiful surroundings. The Alfacs Bay, closed by the Punta de la Banya and the Trabucador, is a natural area of 5.894 ha; with an average depth of four metres and a maximum depth of six metres, being one of the most important natural ports in Europe.

The Ebro Delta Natural Park is one of the most important wetland areas in the Mediterranean. It is the place where 95 different species of birds choose to nest, while the total species count numbers 330 of the 600 to be found in the whole of Europe. Among the 320 square metres of the Delta, you will find long, wild sandy beaches coexisting with lagoons, rice fields and vegetable and orchard gardens. Altogether, offering a surprising landscape full of contrasts.

A lovely friendly hotel with a range of accommodation and facilities to suit all needs

I've just enjoyed another great stay at Hostal Agosti which is centrally located in the older part of town in a quiet street near to good facilities and the harbour and marinas. The hotel is family-run and the owners are very friendly and accommodating...
